This past week was filled with lots of excitement as we had a few visiting teams. We have been trying not to take too many pictures on the pier with the Chinese (for their safety). While watching the team we were working with I saw what I thought would be the “perfect” picture. The feet of the people we are giving the Gospel to and the feet of our very brave daughter. I thought about how at 15 years old she has more boldness to step out and offer a Bible to the people that cross our path on the pier than most adults. What came to mind while I was looking at this picture is Romans 10:15 (NIV) “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” That is what is happening every time someone places a Bible in the hands of the receiver. They are getting the “GOOD NEWS” which is totally life transforming.

Compassion Carts
 More unspeakable JOY

These children are such a gift from the Lord. The smile on each of their face is enough to brighten even the darkest days. This team did such a great sharing about creation and painting creation with the children. One child ( I forgot to get a picture) painted a fish on one side of the paper and water on the other side showing the fish bring created (day 5 of creation). It was so cute, though. We were also able to give out rice to each of the children. We realize that if we are don’t meet some basic needs then it is much harder to hear the Gospel.

Matthew ^{35: 34-40 (NIV)} 

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

Preaching the Gospel is way more than just WORDS there needs to be action.
